FamilyBeacon™ is operated by Spin City DJs Entertainment LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“FamilyBeacon,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains how we handle information used by our website, parent portal, NFC emergency profiles, customer support, and tag-ordering services.
Information we collect
We collect adult account-holder names, email addresses, password hashes, child profile information supplied by an authorized parent or guardian, emergency contacts, optional allergy, condition, medication and note fields, profile visibility choices, tag identifiers, account activity, IP addresses, browser information, NFC-profile scan records, order details and support messages. Clover processes payment-card and checkout information; FamilyBeacon does not receive or store full card numbers. Resend processes transactional and support email.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and emergency profiles, display only the profile fields selected by the parent, record tag scans, fulfill orders, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain security, comply with law and improve service reliability. We do not sell personal information or use child profile information for behavioral advertising.
Public emergency profiles
A person with a tag’s unique URL can view the enabled fields without signing in. Parents control which contact and medical sections appear. Do not add information that is unnecessary for emergency identification. Public profiles are view-only.
Service providers
We disclose limited information to hosting and infrastructure providers, Clover for checkout and payments, Resend for email, and professional advisers or authorities when reasonably necessary. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Retention and security
We retain active account and profile information while the service is used and retain order, security and transaction records as reasonably required for operations, disputes and law. We use access controls, password hashing, HTTPS and restricted administrative tools, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Parents and children
Accounts are intended for adults who are the child’s parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to provide the information. Children should not create accounts or submit information directly. Contact us to correct or delete information provided without proper authority.
Your choices
Parents may edit profile fields, hide individual sections and deactivate profiles through the portal. To request access, correction, deletion or account closure, contact support. Some transaction or security records may be retained when legally or operationally required.
